At Anglo-Eastern Maritime Training Centre we strongly believe, Training of the ship staff is one of the most critical factors in achieving safe, economical and profitable operation of a vessel. The Anglo-Eastern Maritime Training Centre (AEMTC) in Mumbai is certified under  DNV.'s Quality Assurance rules(MTC standards) for certification of training centres. It is the first training centre in India and fifth in the world to have achieved this distinction. These rules cover all relevant parts of ISO 9001 requirements.

In 2007, AEMTC became only the 2nd training centre in the world to undergo a rigorous benchmarking audit by DNV where it came out with flying colours, obtaining a distinction grade.

The training centre is also involved in making company specific and general Computer Based Training Packages. Anglo-Eastern Training Centre is the author of the MEETS - STCW computer based package for Deck Cadet , which was launched in IMO in the year 2011. AEMTC has partnership with many industry leaders and machinery manufactures to carry out OEM approved training in India. AEMTC has developed and delivering more than 100 + active maritime courses for the maritime community.
